Garden Science Investigation

Garden Science Investigation at the Botanical Gardens is designed to engage kids in observation and investigation of living and nonliving things using their senses and simple tools.  Classroom and around the garden activities will engage kids, ages 5 - 11, in each program.  This month's topic is birds in the garden.  Learn to identify birds by their color, size and sounds.  Learn which birds live here year round.  Participants will take home a birdhouse to decorate.  Cost is $7 per child.  At the Botanical Gardens at Asheville, 151 W. T. Weaver Blvd.
