The Asheville City Schools Foundation provides the Academic Coach Coordination Program, which recruits, trains and places volunteers in our city schools to provide academic coaching assistance to students. Academic Coaches are trained to support students by assisting them a wide variety of tasks that support educational success. Teachers request an Academic Coach for school day assistance. Volunteers commit to at least 1 hour per week for the entire school year.
