Workout Schedule
The following basic work outs will improve boxing skills, as well as your conditioning. There are countless variations to each work out, and many more work outs than the ones listed below.

Shadow Boxing
Shadow Boxing is essential to perfecting your technique. Use a mirror to watch yourself while you move and throw punches to insure you are using proper technique. Try at least a minimum of 3 rounds at 3 minutes each.

Heavy Bag
Punch the heavy bag with your jab, straight right, and hooks in combinations to develop power. Use the heavy bag for increments of 3 minutes, and work your way up to at least 4 rounds.

Speed Bag
Use the Speed Bag in a continuous motion in different combinations such as right, left, right, left, or right, right, left, left. Be sure to use the speed bag for 3 minutes at a time, and do not drop your hands at any time.

Jump Rope
Jump Rope to any rhythm or style of your choice. Increase your speed as you gain coordination. Do this for 3 minute rounds, and work your way up to at least 3 rounds. Try and get your speed to 500 rotations per 3 minutes.

Sit-up Bench
Use the Bench to do various styles of sit-ups. One example is to twist your upper body left and right after completing each sit-up. Don't use momentum from your arms. Do as many sit-ups as possible, and continue to increase your work out.
