Child Abuse Prevention Education
Children learn personal safety skills including good touch/bad touch, how to protect themselves with three short rules to identify adults, and how to get help.  Teachers, childcare providers, and others learn how to help children protect themselves, how to spot signs of abuse, how to report, and how to help during and after disclosure.  In essence, children learn how to recognize, resist, and report abuse.

Counseling
Crisis intervention, assessment, and counseling for abused children and their families designed to help stabilize the family following disclosure and assist the child in dealing with the abuse and the ways it may be impacting his/her life.  Counseling is an opportunity for children to share their feelings about the abuse, feel understood and supported;  learn new ways to handle difficult feelings, and learn that abuse is not their fault.
