Outreach Program
This program is designed for the at-risk youth that needs a safe environment to go after school and during the summer.  The YMCA is currently servicing children ages 7 to 14 at 3 locations.  Activities include tutoring, mentoring, service learning, team building, conflict resolution, anger management, and educational enrichment.  All participants are referred to the program by school officials, social workers, and the Department of Social Services.  The current locations include the Asheville City Elementary Schools, Asheville Middle School, and Valley Springs Middle School.
