Family Foster Care/Therapeutic Foster CareEliada provides Foster Care and Therapeutic Foster Care placements for children who have been removed from their biological homes. Foster Care homes are safe environments where children from birth through adolescence are supported and nurtured. Children in Therapeutic Foster Care receive additional therapeutic services in stable, caring homes. Highly skilled staff provide substantial training and on-going support which meets and, in many cases, exceeds state guidelines. Children in Foster Care are referred to the program by local
Departments of Social Services; Therapeutic Foster Care referrals come from
mental health agencies.
Residential TreatmentThe cornerstone of Eliada's continuum of care is its campus-based residential treatment program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 17. Level III residences offer a structured treatment program built around the Eliada model, allowing children the opportunity to learn new skills necessary for success upon return to their home communities. Individual and family therapy, as well as psychiatric care, life skills training and group counseling are among the services available to residents. All Level III students attend Eliada Academy and participate in community service activities. Eliada also offers a secure, 9-bed, Level IV facility designed to serve children whose behavioral needs require the additional structure and behavioral interventions provided in this setting. All clients must be
referred and authorized by area mental health agencies.Post Office Box 16708
