Angels Watch
A 24/7 foster program providing temporary respite care for children ages 0 - 6, whose families are temporarily unable to care for them because of a crisis.  Children are placed in licensed Angel Care homes while the family attempts to resolve the problem.  Parents are provided mentoring and links to community resources by Angels Watch staff and foster parents.

Cornerstone
A home to eight Buncombe County young women, ages 16 - 21, who have long-term problems, are too old for adoption, and/or have no option for returning home.  Case managers teach the girls how to achieve independent living skills, including decision-making, goal setting, as well as money management.  Each girl attends school and/or work, and must earn privileges.

Counterpoint
A home to six Buncombe County children ages 10 - 17, who are having trouble at school or home, have chronic behavioral problems, or are delinquent.  Counterpoint is the last chance for these children before they are sent to long-term institutions.  Youth are taught social skills in a highly structured environment that involves both parents and youth.  Children must meet their school and house responsibilities and demonstrate improved behavior in order to graduate from the program and return home.

PERCS
A home to six Buncombe County children, ages 0 - 18, who have been removed from their homes by DSS.  This emergency shelter provides a safe, supportive environment while long-term placement is being arranged.  Case managers place special emphasis on helping children understand their situation and adjust to the changes taking place in their lives.

Project Respite
A short-term respite care program that provides scholarships for families of seriously emotionally disturbed children.  Families are eligible for up to 20 respite days per year.  A panel of service providers and family members awards scholarships.

Trinity Place
A runaway and respite shelter for six children, ages 7 - 17, who stay up to 15 days.  Case managers provide counseling for youth and their families with the goal of reuniting the family and providing links to community service or arranging long-term placement.
